We photographed Ryan & Emily a few weeks ago in beautiful downtown Marshall. They will be tying the knot this Summer, and I can't wait for their wedding! They are such a fun couple and they both have amazing personalities.
Matt & Beth
We photographed Matt & Beth a few weeks ago as well at the studio and at the riverwalk in Marshall. We had a great time and lots of fun. I LOVE shooting e-sessions, we always laugh a lot and it's a great way to get to know a bride and groom before the big day.
One idea that is really awesome that a few of my couples have done is in lieu of giving traditional wedding favors is make a donation to a charity. It has so much more meaning and it's the gift that keeps on giving. Plus it's a great way for your guests to know you are giving back and making a difference. I had a wedding couple 2 weeks ago that made a donation to the I've Got Your Backs Foundation! As many of you know this is the foundation we started in honor of my 21 year old brother who passed away this Oct from H1N1. The money they donated will be used for graduating high school senior scholarships for college, scholarships for the football camp, and lots more. This was so sweet and a great idea. There are plenty of non profits out there that could use the publicity and funds, so something to think about for all the couples out there planning their weddings. Make a difference in someone's life:) It doesn't have to be a huge amount every little bit makes a difference.
